Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how MOTO GT handles payments, deposits, cancellations, refunds, partial refunds, project pauses, and service delivery disputes for digital services. Because MOTO GT provides custom digital strategy, design, development, consulting, and implementation work, refunds are handled differently from refunds for standard physical products.

1. Custom Service Model

MOTO GT services are usually customized for a specific motorcycle business, including its brand, digital infrastructure, inventory structure, booking model, customer journey, CRM process, or operational needs. Work may begin before a finished website, dashboard, or system is delivered. Research, planning, architecture, design direction, meetings, technical setup, project management, testing, and development time all represent service value.

2. Deposits

Deposits are generally used to reserve production time, initiate discovery, begin planning, allocate team resources, prepare project architecture, and start the service process. Unless a written agreement states otherwise, deposits are non-refundable once work has started or project resources have been allocated.

If the client cancels before any work begins and before resources are allocated, MOTO GT may, at its discretion, issue a partial or full refund of the deposit after reviewing administrative costs, payment processing fees, scheduling impact, and any preparation already completed.

3. Milestone Payments

Projects may be divided into milestones such as discovery, strategy, design, prototype, development, testing, launch preparation, and post-launch support. Payments made for completed or substantially completed milestones are not refundable. If a project is canceled during an active milestone, MOTO GT may invoice for work completed up to the cancellation date.

4. Monthly Services and Retainers

Digital marketing support, maintenance, advisory, optimization, system monitoring, website updates, campaign support, or ongoing technical work may be billed monthly. Monthly retainers are generally non-refundable once the service month has started. Unused time does not automatically roll over unless the written agreement states otherwise.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are typically non-refundable once purchased, started, delivered, or allocated:

  • Discovery sessions, strategy sessions, audits, consultations, and planning work.
  • Wireframes, design concepts, visual systems, interface direction, and prototypes.
  • Custom code, theme customization, frontend development, backend logic, and technical configuration.
  • Content structure, page architecture, copywriting drafts, and conversion flow planning.
  • Third-party subscriptions, plugins, app fees, hosting, software licenses, domains, or platform charges.
  • Completed milestone work, approved deliverables, launched work, and files already transferred.
  • Rush fees, scheduling reservation fees, and emergency support fees.

6. Client Delays and Paused Projects

If a project is delayed because the client does not provide required content, approvals, access credentials, images, product information, inventory data, feedback, or payment, the delay does not create a refund right. MOTO GT may pause work until the missing items are received. Extended inactivity may require project reactivation, rescheduling, additional review, or updated pricing.

7. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be provided in writing. The effective cancellation date is the date MOTO GT receives and acknowledges the request. After cancellation, MOTO GT may calculate completed work, committed resources, third-party expenses, outstanding invoices, and deliverables already prepared. Any refund, credit, or remaining balance will be assessed based on the specific project status.

8. Refund Review Process

If you believe a refund is appropriate, you may submit a written request explaining the project name, payment date, amount paid, reason for the request, and any relevant details. MOTO GT will review the project record, scope, deliverables, communication history, completed work, payment terms, and any applicable agreement.

MOTO GT may approve, deny, or partially approve a refund request. In some cases, MOTO GT may offer a service credit, additional correction work, revised timeline, partial delivery, or alternative solution instead of a refund.

9. Revision and Correction Requests

If a deliverable contains a clear implementation error compared with the approved scope, MOTO GT may correct the issue as part of the project process. Refunds are not usually issued for issues that can reasonably be corrected through revision, testing, debugging, or clarification. Design preference changes, new feature requests, changes in business direction, or late changes to previously approved work may require additional fees.

10. Digital Deliverables

Once digital deliverables are transferred, installed, launched, published, or made accessible to the client, they are generally not refundable. Digital work can be copied, used, modified, or implemented immediately, so refund rights are limited after delivery unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact MOTO GT before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Unauthorized chargebacks for valid services may result in suspension of work, revocation of unpaid deliverables, collection of outstanding balances, and termination of the service relationship. MOTO GT reserves the right to provide project records, communications, invoices, and deliverable evidence to payment processors if needed.

12. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method when reasonably possible. Processing time may depend on banks, card networks, payment processors, and administrative review. Payment processing fees, currency conversion fees, bank fees, or platform charges may not be refundable.

13. No Guaranteed Business Outcome

Refunds are not issued because a business does not achieve a desired level of traffic, leads, sales, search ranking, advertising performance, booking volume, or revenue after a project. MOTO GT can build digital systems and provide strategic recommendations, but market response depends on factors outside MOTO GT control.

14. Policy Updates

MOTO GT may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page. The refund terms applicable to a specific paid project may also be shaped by the written agreement, invoice, proposal, or scope accepted by the client.
